Keep up with the latest events hosted by UPSIDE ! In addition to mentoring and increasing opportunities for underrepresented groups to enter the field of psychology, we also strive to increase education and discussion of cultural factors within the field of psychology.
2023 Finals Week

Started the week off with the "Throw Kindness Like Confetti" event where students and faculty were able to grab an uplifting message as well as taking one for themselves!

​Our fundraising team hosted a Coffee & Cocoa day to offer students a sweet treat. Thank you to everyone who supported this event!

Lastly, we created mental health packets including tips for stressful times as well as mindfulness activities like mandala coloring.

2021-2022 Diversity Discussions
During the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters, UPSIDE hosted a series of Diversity Discussions on topics such as racism in America, scientific racism, identity related questions, disability, and much more! We have partnered with Grambling State University to provide graduate psychology students with the opportunity to learn from professionals in the field in a warm, intimate environment.
